In my experiment I'm using background music while completing some tasks. The music is chosen from a table and there's 3 conditions (major, minor, white noise).
I have 2 problems:
1. I need to silence the background music at some point, so I need to find a way to silence ALL of the conditions at the same time, no matter which one was chosen from the table. Simply putting "silence @1" doesn't work, because it only silences ONE of the conditions.
2. There are two times for the table work. In the first part, there's the three conditions. Then I need to use these three conditions again, in the next part. However, if the participants get condition "white noise" in the first part, they have to get "white noise" in the next part as well. That will work as a "control group" without music.
Can you please help me with these problems?
