Hello everyone,
I am trying to conduct a survey in which the participants see only a part of the questionnaire (random assignment). Besides, I would like the question order in each part of the questionnaire to be randomized. To do so, I used a jump function and a random function. The random function works perfectly well but when I add the jump statement it does not work anymore (all my questions are randomized independently of the random: begin and random: end limits). Here is an example of the script I used, below:
# Condition assignment
l: chooserandom
t: set
- random 1 2
l:
t: jump
- if $chooserandom == 1 then Condition1 - if $chooserandom == 2 then Condition2
# Condition 1
l: Condition1 t: info q: Instructions for condition 1
###From here, question order is random
random: begin
l: drink_set
t: radio
q: Do you like cola?
- Yes
- No
l: drink2
t: radio
q: Do you like fanta?
- Yes
- No
random: end
l:
t: jump
- goto endquestion
#Condition 2
l: Condition2 t: info q: Instructions for condition 2
###From here, question order is random
random: begin
l: food
t: radio
q: What food did you just eat?
- Bread
- Rice
- Potatoes
- Something else
l: drink
t: radio
q: What drink did you just have
- Tea
- Coffee
- Something else
random: end
l: endquestion t: info q: This is the end !
Does anyone have an idea of how to do this?
Thank you !
