I'm in the process of trying to code the Balloon Analogue Risk Task (By Lujeuz et al., 2002) in PsyToolKit and I was looking for a way to end exposure to a stimuli after a certain key is pressed, and then move on to the next stimuli. I'm currently using readkey to judge participant interaction with the stimuli. Because of the structure of the experiment I'm having to use tables, blocks, and blockorders to try and fit everything in too. I was hoping I could just 'end task' and it would end that specific task and move on to the next one in the block list but that doesn't seem to be the case so I was just wondering what the difference is, if there is any between the three end functions?
