Hi. For a study i was asked to experience the stroop effect on line. Then I had to analyze data and explain what kind of experiment design it represents. With my only trials data (the 40 trials) i had to make an inferencial test but I could not understand what to do : student ? else ? Independ or paired ? Any help would be really helpfull.

That is a good question.
If you analyse just your own one data file, you would do a student test with independent samples.
More typically, you analysis includes multiple participants. From each participant you will have two scores, the incongruent and the congruent score. You carry out a paired t-test on those.

Hi, excuse me again, I have another question about Stroop test : Can you please explain the main differences between the original Stroop test and the Stroop test you propose on your website? Moreover, does your Stroop test eliminate some bias from the original one or, on the contrary, does it create new bias? Thanx a lot !
