We're not using any sounds in code.
That said, when we run an experiment in full screen mode on Safari (Mac), a sound plays every time a key is pressed. The keys are being processed correctly in the experiment.
The sounds do not play if we turn off fullscreen mode.

Also should have added:
These sounds do not play in fullscreen mode in Chrome or FireFox.

Dear Adam, I have never heard of this problem, it sounds like something very particular. Safari used to be a poor browser because it does not always follow the same standards for fullscreen mode (for a long time they did not support it at all). That is why there is an option in PsyToolkit not to allow people starting a survey with Safari.
Anyway, please send me your experiment via psytoolkit@gmx.com, I would like to check what might be going on.
