When I integrate a PsyToolkit survey with SONA using the method described here, how exactly does it work? Specifically, I would like to know when PsyToolkit sends the survey code back to SONA and let it know that the participant has completed the survey (so that he/she receives credits automatically). Is it when the participant reaches the end screen? If so, is it sufficient for the participant to reach the end screen, or does he/she need to click the link to leave the PsyToolkit website? I think some participants will simply close the browser without clicking the link. Do they still receive credits?
Also, if the option to not show the end screen is turned on, does this method still work? And if so, again, when does PsyToolkit send the survey code back to Sona? When participants click the "Click this button to continue" button at the last page of a survey?

That is a good question.
1) Once the end screen appears, the survey data has been collected on the PsyToolkit server, and if people leave without clicking the end link, the PsyToolkit survey data still is complete.
2) But in order to send data back to SONA, users must actually click the link, that is right. So you need to add a message to the end screen saying that they must click the link to get their credits.
3) Alternatively, you can switch the end screen off. In that case, the user will also go to the end link, it is just done automatically after the last question has been answered (so it works as you would want it to work).
