Hello,
I am trying to show a bitmap of a GIF but all that shows up is a very brief appearance/flash of the image when I run the experiment. How do I allow the GIF to run smoothly?

Animated GIFs do not work in experiments.

This is a feature I am interested in as well. Is it planned for this feature to be implemented in the future or is this not possible due to technical reasons?

Hi, Yes, gifs are handled very specifically by computers, it is simply not something that works well. Instead it is easy enough to do exactly the things you want using PsyToolkit.
