Hi,
I have had some feedback that my experiment takes time to load. I assume this is because I have a lot of pictures that need to load up.
Are there any quick fixes for speeding this up at all?
Thanks!

Hi Rosie, That is a good question, and I will soon write more tips on the website to deal with this! One of the reasons why it may be slow is indeed because you use many images or audio files. This is only an issue if you have a considerable number of images. There are two things you can do: 1) Please send an email to psytoolkit@gmx.com to let me check the specific experiment, I can have a look 2) Put your images/audios on a separate server for loading. In this section of the documentation you can read on how to do this: www.psytoolkit.org/doc2.6.1/syntax.html#loadingstimuliBest, Gijsbert Stoet

I have emailed the link to my experiment. However I would also like to ask more details on loading from a server. On the documentation is doesn't give specifics. Is there a specific server I can use? It might come in handy for anyone else reading this.

The documentation gives some examples (such as dropbox). In your specific case, I think it was not particularly slow. What happens in online surveys, participants will see a short message like "wait a few seconds" during which data need to load. If you have very large files, I recommend to use something like dropbox (but there are others as well, you need to make sure they work well). Documentation in link below:
