I've been successfully saving/compiling/running my survey with embedded experiments for several weeks; however, today I was working making some small edits to one of my experiments (which compiles and runs), but when I try to run the experiment online, I reach the server error 500 page. Any ideas of what I could try to resolve this issue?
Already emailed the creators but there's a chance I can get a response more quickly via this forum. Thanks!

Hi - I discovered this happens when I have two different users logged in in windows/tabs open in the same browser. It must be setting some kind of cookie and gets confused. Is that what might be happening?

Thanks for the quick reply. I did notice that I was logged in on two separate windows, so that is probably it! Were you able to find a solution when you came across that issue? I tried exiting out all windows and just logging in on one, clearing cookies for the site, but it's still showing the 500 error page.

I can't remember all the steps I used, but it may help to explicitly log out and log back in? Or, try a different browser entirely. Also make sure no-one else is logged in elsewhere on that same login. I have one login for our lab, but realized quickly that each of the researchers needed their own so that we never had two people logged in to the same account at the same time.
When I want to have two different logins running, I run one in one browser (Safari) and another in a different browser (Firefox).

Thanks for the help. I tried logging back in again and tried both Safari and Chrome separately (and I know I'm the only one using this account). Maybe it is a specific problem with my setup. Hopefully I can get in touch with the creator soon, but I appreciate your insight!

Hey, I have exactly the same problem. Have you sorted it out?
