Hi, I have a survey live and collecting real data from participants. I have gone to post the survey on 'SurveyCircle' and realised that I need to add a code to the final page that participants can use to collect their SurveyCircle points. I am a bit nervous about amending the surveys whilst they are live collecting data as I do not want to lose or mes up any of the data. Obviously amending the final page shouldn't change any of the data collected, but I did want to check in case there are any risks to making an amendment to the survey whilst it is live like this.
Thank you very much in advance for any information you can provide on this.

Thank you. I entered the code and clicked save. I thought I also had to click 'Compile' but when I did, I got the following error message:
Compilation refused!
Explanation: You cannot compile unless the following conditions are both met: You are in offline or design mode (scroll down for survey status below, or click here to jump there) You should have no existing participant data files. In order to remove these datafiles, you need to first download them to your own computer (see download participant data below) and then delete (see delete data below). The reason is that if you would change the survey format, the structure of the data files might be incompatible with the new survey format.
Will the code still show even though I have saved without compiling?
Thanks

If it says "compilation refused", that is just because the survey is "locked" because you are running the experiment already.
You can simply go back to "design mode". There is NO RISK in loosing anything.
If you are worried, download the data, but you do not need to do so for recompiling.
If you cannot fix it, please send me an email to psytoolkit@gmx.com
