Hey, I would like to use the Stroop task, from the experiment library, to my questionnaire, however, I need to reword instructions, which show up prior to the experiment. In the script it juts says 'Instructions1', 'Instructions2'. Thus, my question is: how can I upload my own instructions to this task? Thank you in advance

Hello joannakubiak, you simply make them in any graphics program (such as Inkscape, or even Paint can do), call the file Instructions1 (make sure you save them as *.png, maybe some other files can be used such as bitmaps but I am not sure, since I always use png) so that you don't have to even change the code In case I was not explicit, these instructions that you are mentioning are merely picture file that has something written on them, just make your own and replace the original Best, Matia

As an alternative way, I do them in Word (using a textbox as frame) and do a screenshot of that frame, using Win-Shift-S. Then I use IrfanView (or any other program) to save the screenshot as a png-file.

I might make a tutorial at some point about how to do this, I will put it on the todo list.
The main reason for using images for instructions is because it makes sure it is a bit better than just text.
I personally like it if instructions are clear, concise, contain no jargon that participants might not understand.
Having a little picture in it can make it look more attractive.
