Hi everyone,
The research participation poll asked me to have 3 options at the end of my consent form as below:
a) I agree to participate: this option will take them to the study b) I do not agree to participate: they should contact PR coordinator c) I wish to complete the alternate task: this option will take them to the alternate task which is a research article and they have read it and answer some questions
Can anyone help me with this problem? how should I add this options at the end of my consent form?
Many thanks.

Thanks Alexandra for your help. I just wondering how can I define the option that participants can go to a link by choosing the second option? or jump to end and seeing a message info? I use the following codes: l: jump1 t: jump - if $my_consent == 1 then goto Ageandemail l: jump2 t: jump - if $my_consent == 2 then goto some_message and end l: some_message t: info q: You must consent to continue. If you no longer wish to participate or do the alternate task, simply close the window. In this case, you will not receive a no-show for this project. However, you will need to sign up for another project to make up the credit missed by not participating. Please contact the RP Coordinator at rescred@ualberta.ca for details. l: jump3 t: jump - if $my_consent == 3 then goto visit l: visit t: info o: end q: Please visit this website https...... Sorry if it seems stupid I am totally unfamiliar with this process. Thanks!

Participants should either consent or NOT consent to a study. It should be binary ("yes, I do agree to participate", or "I do not agree to participate"). From an ethical point of view, this should be binary (yes or no, there is nothing in between). Otherwise, it gets really confusing for participants if they consent "a little bit" to a study. I think that would be bad practice.
I can understand why you want an alternative task. What you can do is to say, if you do not consent to this study, we have an alternative stufy that you may consider doing. Then provide a link to that alternative study on your website.
Hope that helps. In any case, make sure consent is clearly defined. Make it clear.
