Hello, I am sure that I am missing something obvious here: l: randomnumber2 t: set - random 10 99
l: Q1 t: info q: Please remember the following number: {$randomnumber2}
l: checkQ1 t: textline q: What was the presented number? - {length=2} Number
l: jump1 t: jump - if $checkQ1 == {$randomnumber2} then goto Q2 - if $checkQ1 != {$randomnumber2} then end But whatever I write down as the number, it keeps ending the survey (meaning any number I write down is recognized as a wrong answer). When I set manually the number, for example, for every participant to see the same number (maybe 49) then I can code that when s/he enters 49 to jump to the next question. What am I not seeing? Thank You for Your time! Best, Matia

Figured it out. I knew it was my mistake, simple one, I might add. Should have removed {} from the if statements... If You don't mind, I'll leave this here. Perhaps someone else will encounter the same problem. Sorry
