The "Timed questions - maxtime" option has recently been implemented. I am interested in creating a time-limited survey, like an exam (it would be a reading efficiency test). Is it possible to create a survey (or experiment), limiting the time to complete it to 5 minutes, for example?
Thanks for your attention

For surveys, this is not possible. You can do it for individual questions. It probably is a nice feature to have and I put it on the WISHLIST.
At the very least, you know how much time people used.
For experiments, you can do it, but you need to do a bit of coding to get it in there (keeping track of time each trial and stopping the experiment when the maximum duration has been reached).
Can anyone please let me know if other survey software has this functionality?

Thanks for your reply My goal is to create a short reading test. There is an application that allows you to insert a counter, something like "global count regressive". After n minutes, the questionnaire is automatically sent. Here you can see an example but I do not consider it appropriate because it applies to the entire questionnaire, together with the identifier fields, etc. form.jotformeu.com/80634705146354I think I will try to implement it in experiment mode, presenting sentences and measuring rt. I would like to present sentences, that the participant press a key to register the rt and later present a question as part of the same essay. Would you have any suggestions on how to implement it, with the examples already programmed on the platform? Thank you very much again

I have a rough idea how to do it with some programming work-around. However, I couldn't succeed to elicit the value of time stamps of the survey pages. I have used several alternatives that I believed should work. But unfortunately they do not. Here is just one example: l: timestamp1 t: set - timestamp-seconds $intro_page1 Unfortunately, I also didn't find anything about it via google. How to elicit the value of a time stamp in the survey for a survey page/lable?
Thus I would be very grateful for some ideas! Thanks and best regards
