Hi,
I have a survey with an embedded experiment. The experiment has 8 conditions and I'm interested in reaction times and error rates. The survey has quite a lot of demographic data and also a personality test. How do I link the experiment output to the questionnaire? It's an anonymous data collection. Is there a way of getting the participant unique ID to form part of the experiment output file other than adding it manually when I import it to SPSS/Excel?
Many thanks Kerstin

When you download your data, you get a spreadsheet data.xlsx (excel) with one row for each particpant. If you have set up the analyze section of the experiment, you also get spreadsheet files for each experiment in your survey (see documentation). The rows in those files match, so it is very easy to combine those spreadsheets. I might have misunderstood your question, so please let me know if this answers your question.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick response. I don't think it's going to work for my two datasets as I have to recode the experiment data to split out conditions after it has run to get the mean for each participant. It's a GoNoGo Association task, and I probably could have coded it a little better to extract the means for the conditions but otherwise it's working well. I think I should be able to add a step to extract the means and link them to the questionnaire using Access.
Thanks Kerstin
