Hello,
i'd like to perform some kind of visual memory task. My idea was to first show the participants a series of pictures and ask them to remember them. After some time I would like to show the participants some pictures again and ask them which pictures they have already seen.
As I read here (https://www.psytoolkit.org/lessons/questionnaire-with-images.html), it is possible to include pictures in questions. Unfortunately, it only seems to work with questions of the type "scale" or "radio". I tried the type "check", so that multiple items (=images) can be chosen, but unfortunately the pictures won't be displayed. Does this really not work or did I do something wrong?
Would there otherwise be the possibility to program this test as an experiment?
Hope you can help me!
Kind regards

It is currently not possible to use images in "check" survey questions.
I agree it would be nice, I will implement this. Please contact me via psytoolkit@gmx.com for details.

Update: I have found a solution to implement the Visual Memory Test. With the help of an "info question" several pictures can be displayed. However, the pictures are always presented in the same order. Is there a possibility to present the pictures in random order?
Kind regards

No, that is not possible that way. What you could do, though, is to present the images as a checkbox list and then choose "o: random" to present them in a random order.
Ultimately, the type of design you want is not really suitable for surveys.

Thank you very much for the quick response. "What you could do, though, is to present the images as a checkbox list and then choose "o: random" to present them in a random order." --> You mean like this? l: newquestion1 t: check q: test o: random - {image=a1.jpg} - {image=a2.jpg} - {image=a3.jpg} - {image=a4.jpg} When I do it like this, the images are not displayed (name of the images is correct and they are uploaded). "Ultimately, the type of design you want is not really suitable for surveys." Yeah, however, this task is only one of several to be used as part of the survey and it would be great if we could do all tasks using Psytoolkit.
